Accessibility

It is the policy of IPI to hold meetings, conferences and other professional events where barriers of any type do not exclude people from attending or participating.

Find information pertaining to access at the 2017 IPI Conference and Expo, May 21–24 in New Orleans, LA below.

Use of Personal Assistant

Should you require an aide or personal assistant to help navigate the IPI Conference and Expo, IPI will register your aide as a complimentary guest. Please contact conference@parking.org to register your personal aide (name, city and state is required for the badge). Personal aides may attend sessions and access the exhibit hall, but will not be provided a food ticket. If you need IPI to arrange for an aide to help you navigate the meeting, request must be submitted in advance outlining specific type of assistance required. Email requests to conference@parking.org  or call 571.699.3011.

Mobility Constraints

Due to the size of the IPI Conference and Expo, sessions are sometimes spread out and distances between sessions can be considerable. If you are a regular wheelchair user you should bring your chair with you.

Scooter/Wheelchair Rentals

Mobility scooter rental is available at MCCNO at our UPS Store, located on Lobby F.  We welcome and encourage our guests to make arrangements in advance: Mobility Scooter Reservation Form. Wheelchairs are also available upon request. 888.441.7575

More information on MCCNO guests with disabilities can be found on their website located here

Accessible Transportation and Housing

All ADA-designated hotel rooms in the official IPI hotel block will be specifically set aside for individuals requesting them. These rooms are guaranteed.

Housing

Please contact the hotel directly for more information on ADA-designated rooms. Make hotel reservations as early as possible as there are a limited number of accessible rooms available at each property.

Food Allergies

IPI is diligent about handling food allergies for all IPI events. Onsite, all food is labeled by the facility to provide attendees with potential allergens. Upon registration for IPI meetings, please make sure to answer the question about specific allergies so that the registration system can capture your responses and specific information.

IPI's goal is to have a varied menu to appeal to the majority of attendee's dietary needs.

Please email mjones@parking.org for more information or to ask specific questions about your allergy.
