Prof. Richard Campanella, a geographer with the Tulane School of Architecture, is the author of nine books and more than 150 articles on geography, history and culture of the New Orleans region and related topics.
This customized tour—a rolling block-by-block narration as well as disembarkations—covers about 30 miles, from the historic core to the suburban and coastal periphery of the metropolis, visiting key sites and discussing topics of history, geography, culture, urbanism, environment, disaster, recovery, gentrification, and more.
